Sponsorship

Investec is involved in numerous sponsorships, ranging from sporting events to concerts. There are no hard and fast rules as to who or what we sponsor as we believe that opportunities come in different shapes and forms. We sponsor both individuals and teams from local to international levels.

Our range of interests are diverse because we are keen to promote the Investec brand not just in sport but also for issues affecting us all such as raising awareness of climate change and women in the workplace.

Investec Derby

The Investec Derby is the highlight of Investec‘s year and an esteemed feature on the social calendar. Investec Ladies Day is also a special day that sees an array of fashions and celebrities turning out for the sporting occasion.

English Test Cricket

Investec is delighted to announce a landmark ten year sponsorship of Test Match cricket. Beginning in 2012, when England take on The West Indies and South Africa, this will be followed by three home Ashes Test series against Australia and major tours by India, Pakistan and South Africa.

Hockey

We are involved in multiple Hockey sponsorships as Hockey has great reach in our key geographies of South Africa and the UK. 2011 marked the start of a 5 year commitment for Investec as principal partner for the England & GB Women's hockey team.

Rugby

Rugby represents the very essence and core values that Investec embodies. We are involved in a number of rugby-related sponsorships as rugby has great reach within our 3 key geographies, Australia, England and South Africa.

Tottenham Hotspur Football Club

For two seasons starting from Autumn 2010/2011, Investec are the proud shirt sponsors of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club for all cup football competitions, including the FA cup, the Carling Cup and the Europa League.

Investec Loyal

Built in 2005 by Cookson Yachts shipyard in Auckland, Investec sponsor the racing supermaxi yacht, Investec Loyal. The Rolex Sydney to Hobart is one of the toughest racing challenges on the yachting calendar and great teamwork is essential.

Atlantic 4

This December, Investec will be sponsoring Atlantic 4 in The Woodvale Transatlantic Rowing Race 2011, in aid of Spinal Research. The world’s toughest rowing race will see four young men travel 3000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean in a 29ft boat.

Golf

Investec Property is involved in various golf-related sponsorships in support of tournaments and individuals. We are thrilled that the Investec name is becoming synonymous with the world of golf via the various sponsorships.

Other Sponsorships

We are involved in a range of other smaller sponsorships ranging from art exhibitions, to the theatre, opera, photography and rowing.
